A finely carved pair of Neoclassical Revival marble columns. Each composed of a fluted shaft of figured Breccia Violetta — cream and ochre traversed by deep violet brecciation — surmounted by a Carrara marble composite capital combining Corinthian acanthus with Ionic volute scrolls flanking a central rosette, the whole resting on a turned Carrara base and square plinth. The pair is matched in the truest sense: carved at the same moment from the same block of Breccia Violetta, with figuring that runs continuously across both shafts. Minor wear throughout consistent with age.
