No. 2855 / Unique "Pigne" Flush Mount, by Roberto Giulio Rida

The large (34.5 inches in diameter), and most likely uniques, flush mount, having a frosted glass ceiling cup supporting a polished brass cluster of 8 sockets within a frosted glass dome shade suspending an aquamarine cut glass pine cone (Pigne) shaped drop.

The flush mount was acquired directly from the original owner, who purchased it from Rida himself, and it has been professionally rewired and bears a UL Listed label.

Roberto Giulio Rida built his reputation in Milan as one of Italy's most refined contemporary lighting designers. Working in faceted crystal, satin glass, and brushed brass, he produces pieces rooted in the Italian mid-century tradition of Fontana Arte and Venini, yet unmistakably his own.
